Below are some samples of work from our term 2 GEOMETRY unit:
Left:
To demonstrate
line symmetry
,
the students had
fun cutting different
shapes to make
patterns.
Right:
The students also
used
rotational symmetry
when they designed individual
tiles which were put together
to make a geometric quilt.
The students experimented with shapes when they cut large squares into smaller squares and triangles and they made animal pictures.
